Christmas Card Photobook + Our 2013 card

My grandma has kept every single family Christmas card in a book beginning with my grandparent's very first Christmas card after they got married. It is a book we pull out every Christmas to flip through and it is so fun to see how much people change each year, who is added to the picture, etc.

A few Christmases ago my sister gave me my own little book so that I could start a book for Drew and I. The book is an 8x8 scrapbook and I bought a pack of Christmas scrapbook paper to mat each card on. My plan is to eventually add the dates with stickers, but it could remain as is and I would be happy too. It is such an easy and cute way to display your old cards.
Here is a little peek at our Christmas cards through the years...
LEFT: 2009-Our first married Christmas together, RIGHT: 2010 A picture from our very first Tacky Sweater party and our first Christmas with our kitties
LEFT: 2011-Our first official Christmas card photo shoot and the beginning of my banner making,
RIGHT: 2012-Another fun photo shoot in our cute downtown with another new banner
And here is our 2013 Christmas card from our first trip out to Colorado together this summer!

So there you have it...our 2013 Christmas card and an easy, cheap and fun way to keep up with cards from Christmases past. What do you do with your old cards?

  5. Love your 2013 card, and the album! We have kept all of ours as well in separate frames...but I'm beginning to run out of room--an album may be what we need!

  7. LOVE this idea!! We have a book for all our anniversary photos, where I'll put 1-2 pictures of us every year on our annivesary, so I definitely love the idea of doing the same for our Christmas cards!

  10. Such a good idea. It's not easy for me to scrapbook or make albums, so that's the perfect way to have at least one hard copy of a picture from every year. Also, you two are just gorgeous together. Let's be real.

  11. A great idea! We have one of those mini 3-ring binders that we have kept ours in since I usually put pictures on the back too. It's always fun looking back at the older ones!

  19. I just love this!! Also, I LOVE you guys' card! I know I told you that already, but seriously - adorable! :)

We have a Christmas Memories Book that is identical to the one that my mom, aunt, and sisters have. Every Christmas we write in it about our favorite Christmas moments and the food we ate and who we celebrated with and at the end of each section is a spot for our Christmas card. :) Just like you guys, when we are together at Christmas we always pick up my mom's and go through it and see all the photos from years past. :) It's such a fun way to keep up with the cards!

  20. This is so cute! I love your card. Great picture. So, is the scrapbook just for YOUR old cards, or do you keep Christmas cards you get from to other people too?

  21. Putting together a scrapbook to commemorate one of the most special moments in a year being spent with your loved one is such a fantastic idea. Do you have other photos in it too, or does it just have your Christmas cards? -Faye @ Master Copy Print
