Farmer's Market + Picnicing {two checks off our bucket list}

For our 5 year anniversary we decided to head to our favorite Farmer's Market, pick out some food and go on a picnic. It was the perfect way for us to celebrate.

We started off our day with donuts (duh!) at our favorite donut shop downtown called Holtman's.
Then we strolled around OTR and found the most adorable clock ever for Aiden's room. After some successful shopping we headed to Findlay Market. If you live in Cincy and haven't been go NOW.
We loaded up our picnic basket with some fresh fruit, homemade jalapeno cheese bread, two kinds of chicken salad, some fresh veggies and a dessert from one of our favorite little booths and headed to the park.
We found a scenic spot for our picnic, laid out a blanket and turned on some country music to listen to as we ate. It was just perfect.
 Cheers to the perfect anniversary date and to many more adventures together...

  2. This is the best idea! I never thought of going to the market first, picking up some fresh veggies, chicken salad, etc. and then going straight to a park for a picnic. I love the idea of playing music, too! Cute picnic spot, too, BTW! Looks like it was a nice and romantic afternoon!

  14. Ah, you guys are too cute. What a great way to spend intentional time together (one of the best things about anniversaries is an excuse to do just that!). The picnic looks delicious, and clearly I need to get myself to Holtman's...
