Reason #53 Why I Love My Husband

The days leading up to school starting back again Drew and I tried to get in bed a little earlier to snap ourselves back into reality. Since we both ended up not being tired we ended up eating ice cream in bed and then Drew would read to me. You guys...this makes me the happiest girl in the world...having my husband read out loud to me. We decided to read The Princess Bride (thanks Natalie for the amazing suggestion!) This book had us both laughing out loud. I absolutely love the movie, but I love the book even more especially since my husband's versions of the voices of the characters were hilarious.

Those last few summer nights eating ice cream in bed while my husband read aloud to me were some of my favorites. I am so blessed. *sigh*

    that is one of the sweetest things I've heard :) I LOVE the princess bride but haven't read the book!

    You mean you've never read Princess Bride?! I love it more than the movie. Also, this is amazing. Jordan refuses to read to me. Lame.

    Too sweet!! :) We eat ice cream/frozen yogurt in bed every night too. Then we either talk, read or watch an episode from a favourite TV show of ours. It's probably one of my favourite times of the day!

    This is seriously adorable!! I read out loud the 5 love languages to Derek and it was such a fun way to end our night. I can see how you would love this :)

    Ah girl, there isn't anything more romantic than eating ice cream and reading. If a husband is the one reading to you, all the better!

    Have I told you how cute you guys are before? I think so, but here I am to say it again. You are so cute. I read Twilight to Scott sometimes, but it was sort of against his will. That's not quite as cute. Maybe I'll have to try The Princess Bride :)
