Yellow Springs Street Fair

Before we made our reservation at our Bed & Breakfast we found out that there was an annual street fair that would be going on on Saturday, which made us very excited. Saturday morning we woke up and headed in to town to check out the street fair, which apparently is a big deal in Yellow Springs. There were tons of craft booths and food trucks that lined the streets and it took us at least an hour to make the rounds. We managed to pick up a few trinkets along the way...

After walking around for an hour or so we stopped in a school yard to enjoy some of the tasty food and some shade.

As we continued walking around the different booths we walked over to a booth that had different hot sauces you could taste and we watched as a familiar looking man started freaking out after tasting it. We watched for a minute and then noticed hey that's Dave Chapelle. Dave Chapelle is a comedian originally from Yellow Springs so it makes sense we would see him there. I decided not to be one of those people and try to inconspicuously take a picture, but I definitely wanted to. I took a picture of these gorgeous lavender bundles instead.

 

Overall our trip to Yellow Springs was a great one. We tried new foods, stayed at our first B&B, and took home some goodies and some wonderful memories. We will be back again Yellow Springs!
