Food cravings: I've been peeling avocados, adding a little salt and eating them with a spoon. So good!
Movement: Aiden is still moving around in there and this week when I lay down in bed at night I spend at least 30 minutes just watching him move around. I'm starting to see my stomach contort and it's so crazy to think that his eyes are opening!
Symptoms: Hello back pain...please be nice to me.

Nursery: The crib is put together and I think I finally figured out what I want to do for bedding. I've had the toughest time deciding. Spend big bucks on crib sheets that I'll just be changing constantly or not? Crib skirt or not? Bumper or not? I'm happy with the look I'm going with and can't wait to put it all together. Drew is working on a cute little log turned side table for next to the recliner as well so things are coming together. My next task...wall decor, closet organizers and a DIY mobile.
Prayer for Baby:
Dear Aiden,
Your Dad and I had so much fun talking about you on our anniversary picnic. We have had 5 years just the two of us and are ready for you to join in on our family adventures. We can't believe you will be with us soon.
Love,
Your Mama
Dear Lord,
This week has been an emotional one for me with Drew's Dad back in the hospital. I really want Aiden to know him the way we do. His spunk and love of life, the way he never knows a stranger, his corny jokes and his goofy obsession with all things western. Visiting him in the hospital is so discouraging.
This week you know my desire...that Terry can pull through this. That his kidneys would start functioning on their own, that this nasty cancer would be completely removed from his body and that he would be around for a very, very long time. I know all of our days are numbered, but I would like for Aiden to know his grandpa on this Earth. Whatever happens good or bad, I trust you and know your ways are higher than ours. You are always with us and I'm thankful for that and for the peace you provide me with even in trying times. Thank you for Aiden, for Drew and for our two amazing families who have loved and supported us every step of the way.
Amen.

Isn't the belly movement the weirdest/coolest thing? Love that Drew is helping make things for the nursery, and thinking of you two with his dad.
I'll be praying for Drew's dad, friend!! You look wonderful and I'm so glad you guys got to celebrate your 5th anniversary :) Btw, I totally eat avocados with a little salt and some lime juice ALL the time!
I hope you save all these bump photos in a scrapbook or something - they're so fun and cute! I will be keeping Drew's dad in my thoughts!! Yumm I could totally go for an avocado now :)
I am really excited to see the nursery and crib all come together.
Drew's dad and the family as a whole are in my thoughts and prayers. xoxo

As you already know, I'm praying for Drew's dad! And I'll be praying for you that your back pain eases.
And I am so excited to see his little crib once you have it all put together. It's true that there are so many pieces you have to consider! I didn't think about that!
Thinking of you and Drew's family, of course. I know exactly what you mean. I can't even imagine my future child not knowing or having my mom around to spoil him or her, especially considering how badly she wants a grandchild.
Aiden is one loved little boy already. He will be so blessed by you and your husband and I know that y'all will be blessed by him.
The baby moving around this is crazy to me! I can't wait to know what it's like, but it's weird also. I saw my cousin's baby moving and it freaked me out :) You are looking great Allison! And the Avocado thing? I want that now too.
SO crazy that you're only 14ish weeks away from meeting your little guy! Praying for Drew's dad this week :)
