4th of July SNAPS
Our 4th of July was pretty low key. It was a rainy weekend here in Ohio, but we managed to get in a classic 4th of July family cookout complete with delicious food, patriotic clothes and sparklers. Here are a few of my favorite snaps from our celebration of the amazing country we live in.

Easter on the Farm
We had such a sweet Easter weekend. Full of family time, delicious food and being thankful that we have a risen Savior. Easter is just such a special day already, then add the wonderful weather and my baby in a bow tie and I was all smiles.
Saturday we got together with Drew's family at our favorite restaurant, Grand Finale. After lunch, we headed back to our house to hang out, open Easter baskets and eat dessert.
Sunday I spent most of my day at church then we headed out to my Aunt and Uncle's farm for what is becoming one of my favorite family traditions. An Easter egg hunt where the "big kids" can hunt too. My Aunt calls it the "100 dollar Egg hunt" and let's just say Drew, Aiden and I left that day with 60 more dollars to our names. Cha-ching. That's my kind of egg hunt.
Aiden had so much fun. He cared about the colorful eggs in his basket for about 5 minutes and spent the rest of his time pushing his toy cars around and enjoying his freedom on the farm. It was a wonderful day.

And of course we took a bunch of family pictures because why not...
I hope your Easter was wonderful. Happy Hoppy April!

{Festive} Friday Frames {Out & About}
My life is so jam packed right now and while I'm loving all of the festive hustle and bustle, I don't want to miss capturing some of my favorite moments here on the blog so I'm starting something new. Meet Friday Frames, where I'll be sharing some of my favorite pictures or "frames" from the week (or weeks) past.
Here are some of my favorite festive frames from the last few weeks including Aiden meeting Santa (he's not a fan), Christmas at the zoo, my holiday work party at the Bengals Stadium, shopping and more.

Tonight Drew and I are heading out on a holiday date and I couldn't be more excited!

Happy Thanksgivingmas!
This year we tried something new, we celebrated Thanksgiving AND Christmas in the same weekend with one side of the family, hence the title of this post. It was a crazy weekend full of lots of family time, but we had a fun and I think this might become a new tradition.
Thursday/Thanksgiving:
Friday/Shopping and Chili Cook off:
Saturday/Christmas:
I love my extended family so much and despite me needing a vacation and 72 hours of sleep when we got back to Ohio, it was so worth it. And now I'm excited to be home for the holidays!

Getting in the holiday spirit with a GIVEAWAY! {The Blue Envelope Shop Credit!}
I'm one of those people who as soon as November hits...Christmas music is fa-la-la-ing away in my head. No I'm not playing Christmas music yet, but I'm close. I am beyond excited for the holidays this year! We will have a brand new basement with a fireplace and Aiden is at the perfect age to soak up the magic of the season! I don't like to skip over the Thanksgiving decorations, buuuuut I'm about ready to this year. I am that excited for this holiday season!
With my love for the holidays about to bubble over, it was perfect timing for Mandy from The Blue Envelope to send Aiden her newest holiday tee. I absolutely love it. Not only is the graphic adorable and the message perfect, but like all of her clothes the shirt is so soft and easy to slip on and off!
I can't wait to take Aiden to visit Santa, visit the lights at the Cincinnati Zoo, take him to the toy store to pick out presents, stay up late drinking hot chocolate and wrapping his gifts on Christmas eve and teaching him about the true meaning we celebrate. There are so many magical things about this time of year and I am so looking forward to all the family time we get these next few months. Having a baby truly makes everything more magical!
If you haven't started your Christmas shopping, you need to take a look at all of the adorable kid (and Mama) apparel at The Blue Envelope! Mandy has generously offered a $25.00 store credit to one of YOU. Just enter below and the lucky winner will be announced on FRIDAY.

Full weekend, full heart {Memorial Day Weekend 2015}
This weekend was full of family and full of fun. It was a sweet one and thankfully a long one! While I did enjoy an extra day off work, I do not take my freedom lightly and am so thankful to all who have gone before me and continue to pave the way for us to enjoy the freedoms we do...
Friday afternoon my sister came in town and since it was a gorgeous day we took Aiden on a walk in to our downtown area to our local coffee shop. We sat outside and caught up on some sister talk.
Friday night my sister, Mom and I worked on some shower prep for my cousin's bridal shower Saturday and my Dad and brother joined us for a pizza break on our back patio. It was our first outdoor meal of the season at our house and Aiden ate with us too (sweet potato instead of pizza though).

Saturday my Mom, sister and I hosted a shower for my cousin, Shirley who is getting married in August. We had a lovely day, but that deserves a post of it's own. I just love my curly haired cousins.
Sunday my sister in law and brother in law had us over for a cookout. Aiden played in his pool turned ball pit and we sipped on drinks and chatted on their patio.
Monday Drew and I took Aiden to the zoo for the first time. It was overcast and scattered showers were in the forecast so it wasn't very crowded at all. We had a great time and Aiden did too.
We were all exhausted after our big weekend so we ended our weekend with a movie and family nap on the pullout couch. The cats even joined in. Bring on a short work week!
| The faces we make to get a baby to laugh are priceless! |
