Good Friday/Earth Day Project

Today is Good Friday (I know, I know it's Earth day too and I have a project for you, but hold the phone) Today as I was reading I came upon Isaiah 53 and it really touched my heart...
"He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering. Like one from who men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet we considered him stricken by God...but he was pierced for OUR transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Everything Jesus went through was done for you. I'm so thankful to have a God who cares and who sent his only son to die for my sins. So there's my heart on my sleeve for today...

Now as promised, an Earth day project! Recycle your tshirts into something new and fabulous for the warm weather. I love these tshirt necklaces and can't wait to make my own. Until then here's Martha Stewart to show you how it's done! Martha Stewart T-shirt Necklace
